The big breakthrough came in 1999 with Noll Tolerans which was nominated several times to the Gold Bug Award and which was the first opus of the trilogy about the policeman Johan Falk. The film got nice critics and Anders Nilsson became famous for his way to deal with action scenes and for considering seriously the genre, something noone in Sweden hade dared och succeeded in doing since Bo Widerberg's Man of Mallorca. A couple of years later Anders Nilsson directed the second part of the trilogy The Body Watchers that gathered even more attention than the previous film. He had created a story with loaded action in a drama built on real events and through the considerable development of Johan Falk's character, Bodywatchers became one of the most populare films of this year. Now it is time for the Third Wave.

Anders Nilsson's Filmography:Den Tredje Vågen(2003)//Livvakterna (2001)//Noll tolerans (1999)//Grottmorden (1990)//Russian Terminator (1990)//Fatal Secret (1988)//Silverhawk(1987)
