I'm blushing

A satire from behind the scenes of the film world. A study of a successful artist in the middle-age crisis. And, at the same time, a story of a contented Swede confronted with a backward country. Forty-year-old filmmaker Gunnar Sjöman and his lover Siv Andersson leave for the Philippines to make a feature film based on Joseph Conrad´s book Victory. Upon their arrival Gunnar is faced with all kinds of trouble. The lead actor has failed him and he must find a substitute. Then his lover gets involved in the movement to free local political prisoners. Last but not least, his Philippine producer is pressing him to make a commercial film.
